In 2019, a major Canadian operator asked us to help them lease a back-up aircraft to cover flights from Toronto to the Caribbean during the region’s busy summer period, which coincides with Europe’s winter season.
With high demand expected but no guarantees as to how much business would actually be flown, the client needed us to negotiate the best position for both parties.

Aircraft: Airbus A320
We contacted an operator with whom we already had several leasing contracts in place for the summer of 2019. They were keen to work together on this forward-thinking project, so we brokered a lease for an Airbus A320. The aircraft flew a substantial amount of block hours during the season, supplementing the client’s fleet and minimising passenger delays and inconvenience whilst bringing in much-needed revenue for the lessor during the low season in their own market.
