In May 2023, we were asked to help move a Chinese patient from Spain to a hospital in Germany where they were due to receive medical treatment. The departure date was unclear, as we had to wait until the patient was fit to travel, so we needed several possible options in place for when doctors gave the go-ahead.
Our Solution
Route: Spain > Germany
Aircraft: Gulfstream G100
The patient was bed-bound, so our experts began sourcing air ambulances from local operators.
We found several suitable options, before confirming a Gulfstream G100 once the departure date was finalised.
The patient could only fly if accompanied by a doctor or nurse, so we also contacted local agencies to secure the necessary medical personnel to travel onboard.
