This busy commercial airport serves more than 2.5 million passengers per year, making it the busiest in Croatia. Zagreb Airport is located approximately 11km from the centre of Zagreb and is well connected to the city with a shuttle bus running every 30 minutes. The airport features a passenger terminal abundant with restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a newly built VIP terminal to the west of the main terminal. A second passenger terminal is currently under construction and due to be completed by the end of 2016.
